Storms, floods cost Vietnam $730 million, Gov’t report
Since late September, 235 people have been reported dead and missing by consecutive storms and floods, which have also caused an estimated economic loss of about VND17 trillion ($733.4 million).

Death toll from the recent severe flooding in the central region reached 84 while 38 others were missing as of 6pm of October 18.
